Early Struggles

My name is Shiva Goutam, and I have been a student at Gurukulam Khushiyon Wala School for the past five years. But if I look back, my life was very different before I came here.

Five years ago, my condition was terrible. I had fallen into many bad habits, especially addiction. Drugs had ruined my health, weakened my mind, and I felt as if I was losing control over my life.

At that time, a friend introduced me to Uddeshya Bhaiya, who was not only a teacher but also a mentor and guide for children like me. Meeting him was the turning point of my life. Slowly, within a year, I began to recover and improve.

Discovering True Learning

For the first time, I understood what real education means. At Gurukulam, I realized that school is not just about studies, but also about discovering one’s hidden talents.

Our school invited many inspiring artists—singers, actors, painters, cricketers, and more. Meeting them opened my eyes to the world of possibilities. I developed a deep interest in music and acting, something I had never imagined for myself before.

A New Path with Art

With the constant encouragement of my teachers and Uddeshya Bhaiya, I started learning various art forms. Today, I can play the flute, guitar, harmonium, tabla, and keyboard. Along with that, I have grown in singing and acting, which has given me a new joy in life.

Growth in Education

Earlier, my education was very weak, but now, thanks to the practical and creative learning methods at Gurukulam, my knowledge and understanding have improved a lot.

My Dreams and Goals

Today, I dream of becoming a musician and an actor. But before that, my first and most important goal is to become a good human being. With the guidance, support, and opportunities I have received, I believe my future will be bright.

This is not just my story—it is proof that with the right guidance and support, any child can transform their life.
